Physical Education and Sports Medicine is a medical speciality based on attention to problems related to the practice of physical activity and the prevention of them.

The scope for action is extremely broad, ranging from recreational activities to elite sport and competition; from the impact on children to the elderly.

In our unit, we can monitor the effects physical activity has on the body on a physiological level and on the locomotor system, as well as its use as a preventive or therapeutic tool in certain cases.
